Living in New York City, it's a center of technology, but you can never fully see the stars. It's my best guess that the next step in tech is to try to replace the wonders of Earth. The more time we spend in our homes disconnected from nature makes more light pollution, and the gasses emitted from maintaining that lifestyle make it so we can see the stars less and less. With the technological revolution and the recent rise of virtual reality, it creates incredibly appealing opportunities to enjoy the world without having to go anywhere or maintain your health. However, real, present, natural beauties like the stars in the sky and the stories humans have connected to them for centuries can never be replicated through technology. No matter how much these massive corporations can try, something will always feel off, and you can see the technology through it. We need to emphasize the value of real nature to future generations so they won't accept a virtual nature as an equal alternative, becoming blind to all the differences. The mistakes you've made have led to a decaying world, and you can't fix it by covering everything in a false replica of the original world; you need to take action.
