With this piece, I was thinking a lot about how the final result of a creative project can ultimately end up being so far off from the original viewpoint, the creative vision gone for the sake of making sense. The puzzle is assembled and all of the pieces fit into each other, just as it is supposed to be. Though, the glass has shattered and the eye is no longer able to see, reinforcing the loss of originality to a more “correct” or “palatable” view.
