TS Elliot wrote, “This is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends, not with a bang but with a whimper.” We like to end our stories with dramatism; however, as Elliot suggests, no matter how great of a story humanity has, its end won’t be great. Humanity made a blanket for itself in all the greenhouse gasses released, and we’ve been dying slowly, enveloped in this warm embrace. It’s similar to a kid going to bed after a long day, their mother consoling them, saying “night night.” 

Climate change is continuously affecting our planet whether we choose to admit it or not.
